Imagine if your dog could tell you exactly what he is thinking. Not with a wag of the tail, or a bark, but in good old fashion English? This may be something available in the very near future thanks to The Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery.
No More Woof works by attaching small electroencephalogram (EEG) elements to your dog's head which are then connected to a small Rasperry Pi computer. The computer processes your dog's brain activity and projects it's translation through a loud speaker in English. Reading your dog's mind becomes a thing of the past.
The preliminary versions will be limited to a few different thoughts, but as more research is done, more thoughts will be able to be deciphered and our ability to understand our K9 friends will greatly improve. As things currently stand, the easiest thoughts to determine are "I'm tired", "I'm curious who that is?" and "I'm excited".
While the initial version of No More Woof will only be available in English, other languages will be introduced in the future as the project progresses.
