Lenny is a beautiful tuxedo cat from Scottsville, New York. This beautiful looking cat shouldn't have had any trouble finding a home and at first he didn't. However, it wasn't long before Lenny made his way back to adoption center. Why? Was he one of those cats that suddenly turned vicious like readers have been hearing about on the news? Did Lenny not get along with the other house pets? None of the above. Lenny was returned for, of all things, having excessive gas.
Of all the reasons the staff at Scottsville Veterinary Hospital and Adoptions Center have heard for animals being returned, they never thought excessive farting would ever be one of them. Lenny soon found his way to the Scottsville Veterinary Adoptions Facebook Page in way of a lonely hearts ad under the nickname of "Smelly Cat" that read:
"Hello! I was returned today because I fart too much. I am hoping I can find a person who can love me even with my stinky farts. I am a 19 month old neutered male and would love to be your smelly cuddle cat. I am very friendly and love to be petted and held. I even am wearing a tuxedo so I'll look snazzy if you come to see me.

So if anyone knows someone frequently flatulent that needs a companion in life, Lenny needs a friend. Before becoming a two time visitor in the adoptions center, he was an outdoor cat that was rescued in February. The staff at Scottsville Veterinary Hospital and Adoptions Center didn't notice his flatulence at the time, but he was housed with many other cats. However, since his adopters returned him to the shelter, whatever was causing Lenny to be excessively stinky has since subsided. The adoptions coordinator himself confirmed that he has not yet had any more issues.
